Hello there and welcome to my page

I am not great at talking (or writing) about me, but I will try to give you a little relevant info...

I am 50 years old, female, and live in the USA. I'm a Virgo born in the year of the Water Ox. I am a wife, mother and grandmother.

Shadowhawk IS who I am, it isn't just another screenname; this name was given to me many years ago by one of my grandmothers. Several of my businesses have been or still are registered in this name also... Image By Shadowhawk (Photography) Shadowhawk's Jewelry and Crafts and Shadowhawk's Reptiles. That said, you may address me by either my birth name (Deanna) by Shadowhawk or by simply Dee.

I have been interested in art of all types sense I was a small child. I started drawing when i was about 3 and have tried to learn as much as possible along the way. I went into carpentry as a teen because I loved to be a part of creating beautiful homes for others. I started creating jewelry in my early 20's and that branched out into all sorts of crafts. Now in my 40's I am an artist that cant decide what her favorite art form is...I love it all! I will never stop learning or reaching, I can always improve on my last best creation.

If you are looking through my gallery you may find art of any type. I do photography, traditional drawing, jewelry design, stone carving and other lapidary work, epoxy casting, woodworking, Perler bead art, sewing, crochet, paper crafts, and I am learning digital art.

Many of my projects are combinations of several of those.

I appreciate comments and pointers on my work so long as they are helpful and respectful. I think every artist has something to offer from their experience no matter their age or level of skill; everyone can teach someone at least one thing that they didn't know.

I appreciate the llamas and favorites on my work even though I don't always have the time to acknowledge them.
